CLEAR, COVID-19 and Tier 3
CLEAR and COVID-19 update in light of recent changes - Cornwall went into Tier 3 on 30th December 2020 - and in anticipation of stricter measures to come.
It is clear that the situation in Cornwall is now more risky than we have previously experienced. As an overall position, the safety of our workforce and our clients is paramount. We will, as ever, respect individual circumstances.
Adult Service:
- The default position for adults is remote counselling and this will continue.
- Adults who have started face to face work can continue where there is consent from both parties and a safe place to work. NB this may need to change if there are stricter national measures imposed
- All new referrals will be offered remote counselling only, unless there are extremely pressing and exceptional reasons for face to face work.
- All assessments will continue to be done by telephone
- NO work will be undertaken in client’s homes
Children’s Service:
- We currently have an 8 week wait for children’s referrals so will continue to review the situation. We will offer remote working where this is a viable option.
- NO work will be undertaken in client’s homes
Diploma:
- There will be no face to face delivery in January
