8 Cathedral Lane in Truro is our multi-use space that includes facilities for our training and counselling, together with our charity shop selling preloved items and handcrafts; and a space for community and creative workshops supporting positive mental health and wellbeing.
The high street premises at 8 Cathedral Lane, close to the Cathedral, have previously been an art gallery and a comic shop.

As well as generating much needed charitable income to boost our ability to support people of all ages and all genders impacted by abuse and other emotional trauma, number 8 brings opportunities for CLEAR raise awareness about the impact of abuse and emotional trauma and provides volunteering opportunities for people who want to stay connected to the charity.
We are also doing our bit for the planet through a focus on re-use and re-purposed items.
All surplus monies made from activities at 8 Cathedral Lane are reinvested into our therapy and counselling services. It’s a win-win-win situation.

The development of 8 Cathedral Lane in 2024 and 2025 is being supported by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly; and Cornwall Community Foundation.
