In August 2020 the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) produced a report on our post qualifying Level 5 Diploma 'Working Therapeutically with Children & Young People'.

The Verifiers comments included:

"Tutor feedback is balanced, supportive and appropriately developmental . . . There is a clear sense of candidate engagement with client work that suggests safe, ethical and reflective practice . . . The case studies reviewed demonstrated a mature and reflective ability to work with young people"

"Part of the feedback [from students] reflects the heart of this course:
' Excellent criteria to develop my skills and knowledge to work safely and ethically with children and young                                      people. The presentations delivered were excellent and a real asset to the course structure'
A pleasure to verify."

Carolyn Webster, Chief Executive of CLEAR, said: “This independent verification report is very welcome – it endorses the quality of our course and the approach of out tutors. Our Centre of Excellence, in which the Diploma sits, is a key part of our commitment to the positive development of practice relating to domestic abuse, sexual violence and trauma. We bring together and develop resources, expertise and evidence to support continuous improvement of services from prevention to intervention: locally, nationally and internationally.”
