Undeterred by the COVID-19 pandemic or multiple lockdowns Project Linus have kindly donated another batch of handmade quilts to CLEAR.

The quilts and blankets are donated as gifts for children and young people who are receiving support from CLEAR. Each quilt is individually and exquisitely handmade and above all practical – each one is washable at 40 degrees!

Carolyn Webster, CLEAR Chief Executive said:  “Thank you Project Linus. Despite the strange times we are living through some things remain reassuringly the same. Your generosity in gifting the beautiful quilts for the children and young people we work with is so appreciated. With hugs from wider family and friends currently limited, the hug from a Project Linus quilt really makes a difference.”

Project Linus is a network of volunteer needlewomen throughout the UK whose aim is to provide comfort and cheer to babies, children and teenagers through the gift of handmade quilt that can provide a sense of security and comfort; and in turn give the volunteers themselves the opportunity to contribute to their local community.
