It has donated well over £1billion to charities since it was established. Sue Brown, CLEAR Chair of Trustees said: “A big thank you to the Garfield Weston Foundation – the last year has proved very challenging in terms of fund raising and this grant really helps. This announcement comes at an important time for the charity – we regularly have demand that exceeds our resources but as we move to relaxing from the Covid related lockdown this demand is growing even higher. This support from the Garfield Weston Foundation will help us with the core costs of the charity that underpin our support for children and adults healing from abuse or other emotional trauma.”
