‘Cheers’ to Tregony Sports and Social Club
CLEAR was chosen as one of the lucky charities for the 2023 Tregony Sports and Social Club’s annual Charity Ale Festival. This great event ran from 28th to 30th April and rightly involved a fine selection of real ale and cider, together with food and music, an awesome selection of charity auctions, raffles, shavings and waxings and an epic pub quiz. The result was a £2000 donation to CLEAR to take forward our charitable objectives of reducing the harm caused by trauma and abuse.
Carolyn Webster, CLEAR CEO said: “A resounding ‘cheers’ to Tregony Sports and Social Club for choosing CLEAR! All the funds raised will help us make a real difference in supporting children and adults impacted by abuse and other emotional trauma across Cornwall.
If anybody else would like to follow the great example of Tregony Sports and Social Club and adopt CLEAR as their charity of the year or have their own CLEAR day, no matter how big or small do get in touch with us – everything from volunteering to fund raising helps us support more people across Cornwall.”
