CLEAR 4 education programme is a comprehensive approach to non-abusive relationships - 'from prevention to intervention'. The programme promotes the connection between healthy intimate relationships and emotional health and well-being. There is a strong emphasis on violence prevention and positive mental health.
Our CLEAR 4 education programme delivers a range of age-appropriate wellbeing and relationship workshops in schools across Cornwall, helping to promote healthy relationships and prevent exploitation and abuse. We work across educational settings, ie: primary and secondary schools; as well as in Further and Higher Education colleges and universities.
CLEAR 4 education is an early intervention relationship programme that promotes the connection between healthy, intimate and respectful relationships and emotional health and well-being. There is a strong emphasis on positive mental health and on tackling the issues and challenges that young people face in the real world.
For primary and secondary schools we deliver a whole-school service, including information sessions for parents and carers and workshops for staff as well as follow-up support for children and young people who may disclose abuse or potential exploitation as a result of the workshops.
The make-up of sessions can be tailored through discussion with our CLEAR 4 team who will undertake an initial visit and discussion with relevant senior leaders in the school or college. We tackle issues such as pornography, sexting, staying safe online, body image and sexual exploitation.
Our Education services do not stop at schools. We deliver a range of Continuous Professional Development opportunities through our Centre of Excellence
